Not really sure what Athanasiou or Duclair would get for a contract, the idea is just that I think they would both be good fits. Granlund, or even a Haula return could possibly be options.

That's not cheap. If someone had offered these contracts, those two would have been signed by now. 1 year at half these cap hits is more plausible.

As @SevenLeg says, neither Athanasiou ($3 million) or DuClair ($1.65 million despite 40 points in 66 games) received a qualifying offer from their former clubs, so I think that sets the ceiling for them and, again per my esteemed colleague, they probably won't get half of what you have here. But they would be good adds for a cost-conscious Florida side.

Panthers I believe are done. They may sign Duclair to a 1 year deal but honestly they got no need
