Why not? Easy to say yes to, perfect trade for LA. TB getting decent bottom line players, getting a pick higher pick.
I’m sure LA has enough money to be okay with being much closer to the cap. They could even save money next year as dion puf nuts is $3m less and $6.5 off the book from Kovalchuk! These young guys will be making an impact by then they won’t need to get anyone in free agency next year. The closet is full in LA!

That's a very low return for Sergachev.

Kupari, Grundstrom, Durzi, and a 2021 2nd for Sergachev and Johnson.

Johnson is still a decent player and Kings can buy him out or flip him with compensation.

True but I think most fans believe Sergachev is the most valuable RFA compared to Cernak and Cirelli. We have a bunch of smaller centers in the farm that are NHL ready like ABBl. Not a lot of D men out there with Serg's speed, shot and shiftyness
