Done deal. And Senyshyn has an NHL spot unlike in Boston.

Just like Ho-Sang, Pens can just get Senyshyn thru waivers, you shouldn't waste a high pick.

I’m just bored and there are no Penguins ACGM’s..lol.

And I just think the Pens “could” turn around talent. Like I said about Ho-Sang and Lias Andersson, we need to get 1st round picks and forward talent wherever we can get it. If Ho-Sang and Senyshyn don’t have a spot in Long Island and Boston, then the Pens have room for right-handed shots!!

Left-handed shots we are good!! I would have proposed a trade for Lawson Crouse too if he was a right-handed shot!! We even have Lafferty though too, who played well and scored and put up good numbers in limited ice time and limited games last year.

Basically cause you don’t know who N.Legare is. 20 years old, the captain of his team in the Q league. 71 points in 61 games last year. And 87 points in 68 games the year before. He’s lighting it up in the Q league. Was the 34 ranked prospect in his draft class. Chicago is rebuilding. I doubt they turn down N.Legare and a 2nd round pick for someone that isn’t even signed and that are disagreeing about contract numbers with.

No, we get it, he’s a nice prospect. He just doesn’t move the needle as a main piece in a deal for Strome.

Ok sure. Good luck with Strome!! I thought maybe the Pens would have a better shot at turning around a bust than a rebuilding team. But ok, I didn’t know Chicago fans were so high on him.

You talk about him like he’s a struggling prospect. He’s 23 and a year removed from scoring 51 points in 58 games with the Hawks. He doesn’t need to turn it around. He’s not really a bust if he’s already proven he can be a decent 2C. Maybe a disappointment considering where he drafted, but he’s still a good player.

Ok. I think most people have him as a player that is in bust territory. That is on that line. I hope he works out!! I was a fan when he got drafted!!

penguins decline both.
They don't need an AHL player in Senyshyn. Nor do they need a winger. There is no doubt watching Poulin play for team canada that he's ready to make the jump. He plays so physical, has the speed to break away, and has a lot of skill.
No way he doesn't make the roster this year.

I have no interest in trading Legare at this point, unless it is for a ringer, which Strome is not.

One thing that you need to remember about Chicago fans on here, they kept pushing that Saad was going to get an armored car full of prime pieces, without any retention. Their homerism is a true force. Note that they ended up retaining $1M and got a physical/defensive #5D in return.

Strome is a large body, but doesn't play physical at all, doesn't know how to spell "D", is not good at faceoffs... He has good offensive instincts, but is quite one dimensional. He probably wants too much money and therefore isn't worth going after, but you could probably get him for just the 2nd.

Ya, I’m a big Legare fan too!! Same with Poulin and PO-Joseph. I think if one of them goes, it will probably be Legare. But ya, he was the best young player in training camp last year. Had 3 goals in 2 pre-season games. Is lighting it up in the Q. I’m a fan!!
