There isn’t a team out there in this current flat cap enviro that’s going to pay you a thing to take on a 9M x 7 year

They don’t need to trade skinner no team will take him on. He will bounce back. He was extremely unlucky last season.

There would need to be significant retention in any Skinner trade. That cap hit for that term is just too much for how inconsistent he can be.
I do not think we all understand just what a poor job Krueger did last season.
Sheary, Rodrigues, Okposo, Miller, Montour, Vesey, Skinner and Pilut (I am adding him because he bolted to the KHL and had ZERO pts in 13 games after registering 6 in 33 the previous year) ALL had career worse seasons.
During the season, I sometimes thought he was brought in to tank for a better draft pick, then we ended up with Quinn instead of Rossi.
What can one expect when he started the season with Sobotka then played mostly with Sheary and Rodrigues.
Put Jeff back with Jack and he will bounce back.
Yes he is over paid if he only gets 30 goals, if he and Jack can find their chemistry again, he is paid correctly at 40 goals.
