The value is okay-ish, but I can't see why the Blues would do that at this time.

Agreed, doesnt really make sense for Bruins either, no point in having Smith on the 4th line. (Although Perron does play a little LW)
But yea, contending team doenst trade one of their top forwards on a great contract for futures
