I don’t know why you’d need to ship off Getzlaf now if you have the cap space. To the kings no less! TDL at 50% retained he’s worth something if he wants to go to a contender.

I can’t see Hoffman signing that offer, nor Duclair. They’d want more term and more money if I had to guess

Kings are not taking on Getzlaf unless there are more assets coming to them.

If Mike Hoffman was willing to accept a one year $2 million offer, he'd already be signed by now. Doubt he takes any thing less then 1 year $5 million. But we shall see.

Your trade values are way off... Getzlaf can still play and would be a great addition to a contender looking for a boost. Retain half and get some real assets. Flyers aren't trading for a bottom lineup winger. They have seven top-6 wingers and three more guys that are best suited for bottom six roles. Does not fit the need there.

The Ducks can prob get a lot more then a 3rd for Getzlaf and LA is the last team they would trade him too. He can be usefull on a bottom 6 role on a team going for a cup and the Kings defintily not contenders this year.
