Kings decline, they are not going to take your cap dump, plus they are getting close to the contract limit.

LA should be taking cap dumps to gain draft picks and prospects. They have $13M+ in cap space, and are in a transition/rebuild period. Winnipeg takes a low end contract back to help with the contract problems with LA. Staal was dumped at $5M for a 2nd round pick and in this situation with retained cap a 3rd is more than reasonable along with a mid level prospect.

In this cap climate, the Kings have better offers for their cap space and have no interest in Logan Stanley. They are open to cap dumps but there are better offers out there to take on $3-4M of a cap hit than upgrading a 4th to a third. The Kings will either take back a haul for taking on bad one or two year contracts during this free agency or wait until the trade deadline.

Not much difference between a 3rd and a 4th though, change that LA pick to a 7th in 2022 or future considerations and it's closer to the Staal trade.

Really when Roslovic signs for the around $1.5M or so he's going to get plus the $775K that Poolman makes and there isn't much savings for Tampa compared to what Cernak is probably signing for and really they need Cernak more then they need another forward like Roslovic and a 3rd pair dman like Poolman, this trade doesn't make much sense for Tampa imo, would be great if the Jets could snag Cernak though.

I agree. Maybe instead of Roslovic the jets could add a prospect like CJ and/or a pick.
Cernak is good and will come on the cheap (most likely)
