who wants to pay Danault at 6.5M for FIVE years ??!!??? He's overrated. Been playing with the best wingers Montreal had for three years and barely made 50 points. If he wants to stay in Montreal, he will have to look for at most 5M for 4 years. Probably less...

That minn trade is such a gross overpayment. Drouin is good but nowhere near that good. Not sure I’d even trade greenway for him straight up. Greenway’s taking them offseason seriously apparently so next season he’ll be a much more noticeable player. Combine that with age and the difference in their cap hit would make me say Montreal needs to add not mn
