Minnesota already has pretty decent goalie depth, and with the signing of Hawryluk, Weal is not needed in Vancouver.

MN passes. If they want the goalie they can just get him off of waivers. They also don't need any more goalie depth.

VAN decline, they already have enough bottom 6 forwards. Also they don't have the cap space.
