Ottawa isn't trading Zub, the guy chose Ottawa as a FA, that's where he wants to play, and considering how many Russians the Sens have, who could blame him?

If you want to get rid of Eriksson, you're going to have to pay, and not just with picks, but an actual, decent prospect and a 1st.

If you don't absolutely need to get rid of his cap hit, hold him one more year, it will be much cheaper unloading him next offseason.
