You sure? Not so convinced there. (not about the waivers - I mean him not clearing)

I think Hickey gets first crack. He was incredibly solid before his injury. Nothing against Aho. Keeping him and burying Hickey actually saves a couple hundred thousand

Yes - I believe staple mentioned it and you check on capfriendly

Hickey has played 14 games in the last year and a half. 2 concussion s, he’s probably not the same player. I don’t know why so many isles fans act like he’s this depth defenseman because trotz hasn’t given him a shot yet lol. The same things were said about toews when he was 24 and buried in the minors.

One of ahos closest comparables right now is Jakob chychrun (not saying Aho will be better) but he deserves to play in the NHL.

my bad I misread your first sentence.

Multiple teams would put in a claim for an NHL ready Dman who's a 3x AHL Allstar and plays well in his own end. Can also QB a PP
