Now they just have to sign Barzal. And like I said in the description. All they have to do is trade one of Leo T.Hickey, or A.Ladd’s contract and they can sign Barzal to a 8-9M per year long term deal.

Definitely would move Komarov if it only cost us a 2nd. Hickey we can bury in the minors than buy out the last year of his contract after next season.

With those signings, we could have 15 mil in space with Boychuk on LTIR incase we can't get Ladd on it as well.

Nowhere does it say Duclair is signing with with NYI. It says A.Green, Matt Martin, and Cory Schinder deals are done though. Agreed upon. Just need to be finalized and announced. To sign a #1 superstar Center for multi years it’s gonna take atleast 8M. Probably 9. So instead of using the 3M on Duclair, sign Barzal long term to a 9M 5-6 year deal. He’s worth every penny and will get it. And it’s cheaper than the 11M Toronto is paying John Tavarvas and Mitch Marner. Matthews is making 11M. McDavid 12M. Eichel 10M. S.Aho 8.45M. Barzal is worth atleast 9M per.

And hickey would be the easiest to trade out of the bunch. Defense always has value in the NHL. See Ceci and Jack Johnson’s contracts. And the Marc Staal trade. Then Komarov next. If you can trade both. That would be great. No need for hickey with S.Aho NHL ready and the Andy Greene signing.

Fine Corey Schneider might sign for league Min.. it doesn’t say that anywhere though. Most back-up goalies, with his experience, sign to a 2-3M deal though. Usually around 2.5 or 2.75M. Lundkvist signed to 1.5M with the Caps to give them a deal too. He and the organization said that. That information and those quotes are out there.
