Too much for Goligoski imo. He’s good, but you’d be better off giving them a draft pick and maybe a decent prospect.

It would cost a first to get rid of steen, goligoski with that retention would be a 2nd and a 4th, so Dunn for that work, plus blues will most likely protect 7-3 and they are forced to protect krug and Faulk and I’m pretty sure they would protect parayko over Dunn wich will result in loosing Dunn anyway

I didn’t look at it that way. I see it now. For some reason I thought it said ‘Sundqvist’ instead of ‘Steen’.

Steens most likely retiring and that being said, the Blues aren't paying a first to remove a guy when he's on the last year of his contract. The blues have zero need for a 35 year old goligoski. All that being said in terms of actual interest from either team it's a wash for both teams because neither team has any need for either player. The blues are protecting Parayko and dunn first and then either krug or faulk depending on how this year goes. Worst case scenario, krug and faulk play up to their level and the blues pay Seattle to take someone like Sammy. My bets on faulk being exposed not dunn

The sheer bald confidence on this man’s entirely incorrect statement

And that would be 10 times more ludicrous. The Blues would have less than zero interest in any of this.

You do not have to protect NTC. Only NMC. No one on the Blues will be required to be protected in the expansion draft. The Blues will (or at least should) protect Parayko, Krug, and Dunn in the expansion draft.
