I don't think there's a prospect swap that makes sense between these two teams. If the Rangers are good enough, I could see Danault being a target? But unless Krav has another poor year, he still carries significant value that I don't think the Habs would be willing to part with [their right side is already signed for multiple more years, he doesn't fit here anyways]

I mean Panarin Lafreniere Kakko and Kreider are the rangers top 6 long terme i think, I think targeting a #2 C or a D could be beneficial for the rangers

I would say Danault for Kravtsov as the starting pieces and then the GMs can decide if they want to add anything

I looked into that. SBS explained the source mentioned the trade interest by Pittsburgh was likely for upgrade at RW before they got Kapanen. Absolutely does not mean Rangers were shopping him.

Kreider is not a long term piece. Let me enlighten you!

Lafreniere-Zibanejad-Kakko
Panarin-(trade/draft)-Kravtsov
Henriksson-Chytil-Pajuniemi
Lemieux-Barron-Gauthier

Miller-Trouba
Lundkvist-Fox
Robertson-Schneider
Jones

Shesterkin

didn’t kreider just sign long term? why would they sign him long term of he’s not a long term piece? And this roster its if all of your prospect pan out right, doubt all of them will

Kreider was signed before they got Lafreniere. Prospects will be fine. These are talented kids and the management believes highly of them.

Heck no!!
Keep your over hyped 28 year old 3C that expects 5+ mil per after this season.
He definitely does not fit in NYs future plans.
