That package ain't gonna get u, Kessel. It's not that it's not enough, it's not the players they need. And he also has a NMC

I'm pretty sure buffalo doesn't wanna go for Phil kessel, I think buffalo is going for a more step by step approach.

Real world salary is likely the big issue here. I think Okposo has twice as much as Kessel owed to him. Don't see Arizona doing that.

Copley > Hutton
Colpey's contract > Hutton @50%
Bryson doesn't come close to covering it.

Okposo's contract is an albatross
Thompson's contract is not good
Mittelstadt is over rated
1st is nice as is might be a top-5 again

The 1st might get someone to take Okposo and Thompson, might, probably not enough though. Mittelstadt doesn't get Kessel.

Nmc at this point i dont think is a factor, Arizona is getting 2 young centers, i feel that is their #1 priority

Okposo was 4th on the Sabres in pts per 60, their are much worse contracts out there, Sabres absolutely are not going to be top and you show your colors there

No, thats one of the benefits Okposo is slightly less over a longer period of time

The NMC us still a crucial part because it has to be waived by the player, and, this trade is not very fair so I don't see it happening

Agreed, Kessel being stuck in Arizona probably negates the NTC worries. If he was on a contender like Tampa it would be one thing, but the Coyotes are going nowhere so he'll agree to waive in pretty much any scenario.

You going off the cap hit or the real world money? I'm getting 7m for Phil and 11m for Okposo.
