Strome to help our prospects

Created by: VijayPatel11
Team: 2020-21 Florida Panthers
Initial Creation Date: Nov. 26, 2020
Published: Nov. 26, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Lundell comes over after the Liiga season ends
Could be a bit unrealistic, we have quite a few players to resign in 2 years, adding Strome to that group would make it kind of hard

Accirari isn’t worth a 2nd, 3rd max

Honestly after looking at what Goodrow and Coleman fetched, a 2nd is a bargain. The Sabres don't pay that much, but a desperate team could

Coleman and Goodrow are better, and Tampa is the only team who overpaid

Goodrow got to shine in Tampa, but was not better in SJ than Accari is. Guy just scored 20 and is locked in for two more seasons

Goodrow and Coleman were not on the trade blocs for their respective teams if I remember correctly (I know for sure SJ did not want to trade Goodrow), we had to make them on the track block.

Well Acciari isn't on it publicly either

What I'm saying is it depends on who's calling who. If someone comes calling for Acciari and Florida doesn't want to give him up then depending on how bad said team wants him Florida could get a nice return. If Florida is looking to sell it goes down. I'm not sure what the OPs intentions are here.

I am trying to get Strome and also stay under the cap
With Strome we have too many forwards anyway, so I wanted to trade a guy who had an up year to get more in return

You should just keep Acciari as 4C. He is a one-time 20G scorer, if you want to call him like that.

Rangers accept. I think Strome is a good fit in Florida. Rangers willing to retain as well!

I think those Strome deals were from when he was a RFA and 95% of people on this site expected him to sign for way more. Maybe TDL or off-season if we are looking to add upgrade the 2C spot. As for Acciari, I think it’s a mistake moving him if he will continue to put up his numbers including the blocked shots... more saves that bobrovsky maybe?! 🤔 jk but in all seriousness if he blocks that many shots every year then keep him for 4-5 seasons while he is young, developing and can handle being the third goalie pad.
