What kind of wood is Philly receiving in return? Oak or pine? This will greatly alter the trade.

No so many options. Lots of NTC who won't go to NJ or other poor teams

Byron is a good player a little bit overpaid
A 2nd round pick to take a good bottom six player overpaid ?
      Not a chance

Well speaking as a Red Wings fan who has had to wade through a million Paul Byron trades; we don't want him unless you add the second and I doubt New Jersey does either .So that REALLY limits your options right now. Sorry.

Per Daren Dreger, Bergevin have no intention to trade Byron and if he was available, a couple of team including OTT would be interested. So realistically, Byron doesn’t have a negative value

Wow, it limits our options that you don’t want Byron? What on earth are we ever going to do? Everyone knows that the new CBA rules state that Paul Byron cannot remain a Montreal Canadien and must be traded immediately.

Wait, what if we just didn’t trade him... No, what a stupid idea. 🤪

Unless you're one of the idiots constantly trying to trade him to us on here then I wasn't talking to you. If you are then you're an idiot. Also, your comment doesn't make sense on a GM where the person is actually trading Byron.

I don't dislike the player just the contract. And it's the beginning of the season, rosters are set, caps are full so trades don't happen very often. Add in all the financial chaos caused by the virus and it limits any teams options for trades. Let alone an overpaid bottom sixer who's almost 32.

You said “limits your options”. So no, nothing about Byron’s value limits the habs’ options, be cad they aren’t trading him. Just like if for whatever reason Larkin’s trade value was horrible, that wouldn’t “limit the Red Wings’ options” because they wouldn’t trade him anyways.

I wouldn’t consider ever using draft capital or prospects to remove Neal. The only situation I’ve came across to remove Neal that I’m not 100% against depending on a few other situations tooo soon to tell is exposing jones with the option to upgrade to nurse under the condition they take neal as well. A lot has to go just right for that to be an option.
