Would love these signings. Chara is #1 for me though if he wants to leave Boston. Granlund #2. Perry would be an awesome add too.

The only way Kappy, Zucker or Rust move out of the top 6 is if we sign Kovalchuk and he plays on the 2nd line with his buddy Geno. Or Poulin really stands out in training camp and steal a spot. Besides that. Our top 6 and top 4 D is set. And can compete with any team.

And Pens won’t trade Sceviour b4 he even plays a game with the team. You can bury his contract in the AHL for 125k against the cap. And if someone claims him, then ohh well. But I think him and his expiring contract will have some value at the trade deadline. If we do make a trade at the deadline, we will be able to throw him and his expiring contract in, instead of a “C” “C+” prospect. No reason to dump him now. He provides us NHL level depth.

I don’t see a huge reason for Perry either if we sign Granlund. I would much prefer Granlund too. Seeing as he can also play Center. But if we don’t sign him or Huala, I don’t see a problem with C.Perry. I actually would like it for 1.2M or less. He can play that 3rd line Rw. And is a nice back-plan If kappy doesn’t play well. And adds a much needed Right-Handed shot to our PP. adds the toughness and around the net play that we lost with Hornqvist. And if Poulin steps up. He can easily move to the 4th line RW and be a great depth option, seeing he’s getting older and we can rotate him Rodrigues until ZAR is back and healthy.

I just think we have enough wingers....(counting McCann and Poulin).
strength down the middle is crucial because Sid and Geno will get hurt and then who eats those minutes. like right now we are one injury away from a guy that scored like 5 goals as the #2C...although if one got injured McCann would prob play C. either way I'd love another C option that can get above 46% FO

Ya, if Sid or Geno miss time. I would think, as the team is right now, McCann would move up to the 2nd line C. Or Sam Miletic, he plays like a top 6 Center. A playmaker. More than Angello or Bellerive. And Almeida is still too young and too small at just 21 and 5’10, 165-170 pounds. Sam Miletic is 23 and 6’0, 200 pounds and was a AHL all-star last season. That could be a thought. But I doubt that too. I think them moving Lafferty or Jankowski up is more likely. But yes, probably McCann right now

Perry would be bottom 6 on this team.

I think they are done with signings.
