If Dallas trades Heiskanen (which they won't) it would be a top 10 forward, Hedman (maybe), or Makar (maybe)

I don’t think they’d go after Hedman since he’s much older, but I agree with your point

He is still under 30, the best defenseman in the league, and on a 7.8x5 contract. I would guess he will be the best D-man in the league for at least 2 more years and top 5 the whole contract. Dallas still might not do that. That's Heiskanen's trade value.

Not Makar, Heiskanen is more of their style. And if we trade him, it's at least for a number one center

How many centers would you trade him for?

That'll be an easy no from the Stars. Not moving our two best players from the latest playoffs.

At this point any kind of trade involving Heiskanen is an instant loss for Dallas. There's less than a handful of players Dallas would trade the guy for in the league.

Oops, what I meant to say is that the price of Heiskanen is a very good center first line and supporting calibre

Would you do like a Barzal, Point, or Dubois?

That's what I figured you'd say. Neither Tampa or New York would do it anyway though

Tampa doesn't do it cause it's their best player (my opinion), Islanders the same thing plus he's less replaceable than point (cause Tampa has Stamkos)

Exactly my thinking except Kucherov and Hedman are better than Point. Point is my favorite player in the league though.

miro is untouchable but in a deal involving him a top-scoring forward must come back

Miro Heiskanen is gotta be worth Kakko + Fox I'd assume. He's generational.

I think he is untouchable and he is well on his way but at the same time I think it's a bit early for the generational tag.

In the playoffs as well. Pavelski had a clutch performance but Benn was overall the better player.
