Yandle is all they need for offensive d man. And they have weegar ekblad nutivarra and stralman on the right side. Ld is their weak side

I just dont think its enough for Barkov, and what I mean by enough is theres nothing in that trade that has a player to even begin a rebuild around. Its a bunch of spokes on the wheel.

The second part of this is, youre absolutely insane to think that Buchnevich deserves a 5m extension.

He was just on pace for a 55 pt season on an offense bound to get even better, and took on a load of defensive responsibility over this past season, and hes already making 3.25, 5 is 100% within the realm of possibility

Look at who you just brought to the team... do you seriously think you can afford to keep Buch at 5m per year having to resign Barkov, Zib, Fox, Kakko... then LAF and Miller the following year. Theyll be calling us the TB Lightning of 2020. How symmetrical of you to sign Buch to a 5m contract, the same number as TJ.

TJ is going from 27 to 34 buch is going from 36 to 31 at least try

And with strome and georgiev gone and replaced for cheap we should be fine, kreider will be traded soon too

Were not fine, do the math for yourself.

Barkov at 11m
Zib at 9.75m
Panarin at 11.6m
Shesty at 5.75m
Trouba at 8m
Buch at 5m
Kreider 6.5
Lindgren 3.75m

Thats 8 players taking up 61.35m of the cap, lets say it goes up to 84m... youve got 23m to work with...
How much are you resigning Fox, Kakko for? Fox probably gets 5m, Kakko 4m... youre down to 14m to work with and 11 spots to fill.

Now calculate how much of a raise LAF and Miller get the following year. Youve got 10 guys on the books eating 70m of the cap with LAF and Miller to resign. Good luck.
