I don't love that trade from the Leafs perspective. For one, neither guy helps the team much now (and Johnston at 26 doesn't have much room to grow). I would probably take Engvall over him and Dermott over Aho.

While Dermott is the best piece overall, I think the Isles say no. Engvall would not be on their roster and the D is pretty much set when Greene signs. Isles would not want to increase their cap and give up a 3rd round pick.

Take out Johnston and Engvall and I do it.
