rather keep him at that price...15P in 19GP before injury and then 7P in 10GP in playoffs...there is some hope with him

As a Habs fan I would do this, If you want to keep Danault you have to give up something.

Seems light for Drouin, however Minnesota shouldn't be going after him. They don't need him. Danault makes much more sense for them to go after

MN has no need for Drouin so they pass.

If it was Danualt I'd take it and run from MN. Danualt would be a 1st+ as a rental but I don't see MN paying that high of a price.

I'm not sure their will be many trades, period, during this season. The cap is so tight and Covid has just destroyed each team's plans. It's just so hard to make trades and make signings. It will be an interesting rest of the offseason for guys like Hoffman and teams like Tampa and the NYI who need to move dollars to teams that just don't have the space. Even with sweeteners, it's just difficult.

There really aren't many trades until close to the TDL in a normal season. Too much is unknown still to say how it will look at this year's TDL.
