Possible future Red Wings playoff roster

Created by: Flames_892
Team: 2022-23 Detroit Red Wings
Initial Creation Date: Dec. 1, 2020
Published: Dec. 1, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Zadina gets a nice contract lol. Especially for playing 3rd line minutes. They let go most of their team to free agency. Sign Armia, Rutta and Rittich in free agents. I forgot to do Korpisalo trade so don’t rip me on that but if you need to, go ahead. They also draft Owen Power in 2021(3rd overall ) and Shane Wright in 2022( 1st overall ). Robby Fabbri finds a nice fit there and produces well. They make Zadina into a penalty killer that can produce 30-35 points a season.

I mean if you get the best dman and best forward for the next 2 years yeah they'll be better. No way they move wallinder for henrique especially if they have Larkin and wright.

Detroit's not trading William Wallinder, At worst he's a 2nd pairing LD. And with Joe Veleno coming up there's no need for Adam Henrique at 3C.

In this scenario, if you get Wright and then want Henrique (or a similar type of veteran) for your 3C, I’d imagine Veleno becomes the expendable piece. You’d want Wallinder rounding out your long term top 4 with Power, Seider, and Hronek.

Agreed, huge overpay for Henrique and keeping Namestinkov would be the priority. Zero reason to trade Wallinder.

I agree and considering Yzerman drafted Namestinkov in TB I think he could be in Detroit for a while. If Berggren keeps up a point a game pace in the SHL I think he could beat Raymond to the Wings.

To be honest, I'm not a fan. Both Hirose and Wallinder are good prospects, but we're quite well stocked at LW and LD. (In particular, I'm firmly convinced that one of LaCombe and Thrun is likely to pan out as well as Wallinder.) But this would definitely be the time to trade Henrique.

I think that Zadina's salary is in Philippine Pesos.
