1- Heh. Funny stuff.
2- He did that last year, and we topped the West. But actually, he's due back early in the season. Fingers crossed, maybe miss a month or so.
Well, we don't have Pietrangelo anymore and I'm not sure you can bet on Colorado being super injured, MAF actively tanking Vegas for a good chunk of the year, and Dallas being as inconsistent as they were last year. Tampa might be in our division too next season. So I wouldn't bet on us being top of the west again. But yeah Tarasenko should be back sooner than later, but after three shoulder surgeries I'm tempering my expectations.

Not with that dcore and if Binnington doesnt bounce back blues are in trouble. I could see them maybe making a wildcard but rn they will be having their problems
Also Tarasenko will be missing a good chunk of the season with an injury.
I really don't get this narrative that because BInnington had a few bad games in the bubble he's toast. He had a pedestrian regular season I guess but he (stupidly) played fifty out of seventy games and the Blues were a mess defensively this year.

Lol. That’s a super expensive mentor!! Lol. And a super expensive 3C for a team that isn’t expected to be contending this year.
And Perunovich is NHL ready and will play that LHD.
And doesn’t STL want that cap space next year with Steen and Bozak expiring contracts?? Especially to sign Binnington. He’s gonna want a big raise do t you think??
Agree that the Bozak/Steen trades are unrealistic.
Perunovich can and will spend time in the minors, but they shouldn't trade for Skjei since they have Dunn.
I realize I just spent the earlier part of my comments defending Binnington so at the risk of talking out of both sides of my mouth Binnington doesn't deserve a big raise. His reward for the cup was the contract he has now. His next contract will be based on his performance since, and we're halfway through it. Has he been better than Gibson? Than Hellebuyck? Than Lehner? No. Don't pay for saves. If he wants more than five mill for four years, I'm almost certainly letting him walk.
