No. Saad is the better player that fits the avs identity, Drouin would be a tire fire under bednar

I don't think Drouin would be a fit but reuniting Mackinnon and Drouin would be kind of cool for nostalgia alone.

He will not bc he’s not taking either landeskog or rantanens spot who compliment Nate

If avs move landeskog off that line, it’s for guys who still are defensively responsible.

Drouin doesn’t fit how the avs play or deploy their top 6 wingers

MTL fans trying to use jr hockey chemistry that happened 7 yrs ago as a reason the Avs would be interested in Drouin is ridiculous. He’s an awful fit, doesn’t fit under the cap and is one of the more overrated players in the league. I’ll take Saad all day.

The Mack and Drouin era ended with a Memorial Cup win. Let it end there on a guaranteed happy note. Bringing Drouin to Colorado would just not be a good time for anyone.

Drouin had a spot cemented with TBL, yet his immaturity and unwillingness lead him to succumb his spot to Brett Connelly and was shipped off for a bag of pucks 😉. He's had what, 9 good games with effort ever since!?! Sure he gathers points somewhat, somehow, so did Spooner. Can't see many teams wanting him on their roster period. Especially in the new flat cap world for the next 2-4 years. Nothin Drouin@3x 5.5m is less appealing than Lil TJ@4x 5m really

and hes being question for his effort and compete level once again in Montreal...if hes slumping offensively, which isn't uncommon since his offesnce is very inconsistent, he doesnt offer any other intangibles to his game, which results in his ice time being cut down and shuffled down the line up. If you cant trust a guy to do the right play and be responsible defensively, they dont deserve top 6 minutes.
