Detroit says no. Zadina's not available, especially not in a scenario where we're REALLY helping out Tampa.

I think that’s a pretty good deal for Detroit, but I don’t see them being interested either. The Columbus trade is certainly a no go.

I dont see any team trading one of their top young players for anyone on tampa not named Sergachev, Cirelli, Kucherov, Hedman or Point. Especially with Tampas cap crunch

This is kinda comical if you think Columbus will give up the better player in the trade, the cheaper player in the trade, and not receive any sweeteners at all.

Seems like detroit could use a solid 2c option, but you need to pay a little more to include paquette. Zadina for cirelli is pretty close to an even trade. Its a deal worth looking at for both sides tho.

Detroit declines, Not trading Zadina he should at least be a potential 30 goal scorer in the NHL. Paquette has no value and i wouldn't be dealing Zadina 1 for 1 for Cirelli Detroit needs scoring bad and to help one area by hurting another area no than you.

Yeah but not giving up an unprotected most likely top 5 pick for cirelli. Tampa is cap crunching big time and we will take advantage not give them assets

You and I have differing opinions on the value of draft picks often. Personally I think that a potential top 5 pick (we know Detroit’s draft luck) is worth a 2nd line center that could be on this team for a long time. I’m a “bird in the hand” kinda guy.
