Look how much he was getting paid on Tampa lol, he should be paid more but it would be unlikely for anyone to pay too much for someone who had just been paid that little. He is a very underrated player and he will continue to get paid more but it takes time. Tampa gets in return two minor league players who would help the Crunch without hurting the team's salary cap unless one were to be called up. This gives Tampa more space to develop younger players.

Chicago declines

Chicago has expressed the possibility of trading Kane and Toews in order to develop younger players, part 1 of f u t u r e was the Chicago side of that trade.

LMAO STOP with this horrible Chicago Edmonton trade. Everyone posting Chicago declines except Edmonton would have already hung up the phone. We don't need or want those 2. They're salaries are horrible and they're both on the downhill. If we wanted a winger for McD we'd find a way cheaper one than Kane with a way better valued contract. I don't care if you think Kane is a top 3 winger Kucherov is better and makes 9.5, Pasta is better and (currently)makes like 6.5 or something. Edmonton will never do this trade.

#KeepNugeForever

Also the first round pick would be going to Edmonton from Chicago not the other way around and Chicago would retain partial salary on both your guys.

Carolina passes as well. No way they give up Bean and a 2nd for a washed Neal and 25 year old who might be a bottom 6 forward at best.

Agree on Neal, the hype around Kahun in Edmonton is insane though and I bet whether he plays with McD or Drai he gets 30 goals next season.

I can't agree or disagree to be honest but I know him and Drai have history and all the analysts are pretty hyped about him coming here. I don't know enough about him but I'm optimistic. I think if you put me on the ice with either of those guys I can stand in front of the net and score at least 10-15 on the year so he should be able to get at least 30 tap ins from those guys' dishes haha

Thats true, just stand there and keep your stick on the ice, you'll get at least 15.

I see the Kahun pick up like the Canes and Bracco. If it works out, awesome! If not, no harm done.

I think he's signed for like 750K 1 year deal so you're absolutely right. Oilers have tried this a couple seasons in a row now LOL Jussi Jokinen in 2017 comes to mind. He was going to be our 20 goal depth scorer.

Loved the Juice here in Carolina, hated he was traded away for *checks notes* absolutely nothing!
