It all depends if he’s healthy or not. He could regress too.

Dahlin far too high up. He's had good seasons but suddenly growing to be a bigger impact player than guys like Patrick Kane and Alex Ovechkin is ridiculous.

A 40 gaol scorer regressing will still be better than Hischier this year. After that it's anybody's guess.

Stamkos is projected to be healthy by season's start, and after still scoring at a 42 goal, 95 point pace this year (comparable to Eichel) it's hard to see him regressing that far, especially with Tampa's top PP unit intact and even improving as Point gets better. He's literally had only 2 years where he's been on pace for less than 38 goals iirc, and as long as he remains healthy and effective on the PP he should be good for a long time. Certainly better than Hischier, Nuge, and Ekblad, and probably Hall and Tavares as well.

If Nolan Patrick is able to play and stay healthy this year, I wouldn't be surprised if he was better than Spezza. And I think we are going to see a much better year out of Kakko. But I mostly agree with everything else

Yeah they both do. I also get chronic migraines so ya I can agree that they certainly are awful. I hope it works out for Patrick though, I was a huge fan of his in the WHL and he seemed to be trending upwards before migraines took him out of the game.

I agree it’s a projection. Eichel is going to be in the mvp conversation again this season.
