Not a Ducks fan, but Dostal, Zegras and Drysdale seem to be their most untouchable untouchables

Even if Gibson is incredible for the duration of his contract, all that means is they’ll have an incredible backup in Dostal for a few years, eventually becoming one of the best and most affordable tandems in the league as they re-enter their window. It also means they don’t have to worry about overpaying Gibson when he’s a UFA, they can just move on and use Dostal as their starter going forward. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, and the Ducks probably have one of the most desirable goalie situations in the league (right up there with Vasilevskiy+Alnefelt, Kuemper+Raanta+Hill, Price+Allen+Primeau, and the entire CBJ pipeline).

Good points! Don’t forget the ultimate, Rangers goalie factory

We're pretty set at all positions for quality prospects except RW. We just drafted Drysdale, Moore and Nickl at RD and have Andersson there. At LD we have LaCombe and Thrun (who may be better) in the pipeline and Mahura coming up behind Djoos, Curran, Guhle and Larsson. At C (where you guys are really weak) we have Steel and Zegras, plus Lundestrom and Groulx. At LW we have Comtois and Tracey in addition to the five guys we have on the roster that can play there. The only viable RWs on our horizon seem to be Terry and Perreault (and maybe Colangelo), but I don't see anyone in your organization that would appeal to us sufficiently to consider anything.

Nothing Toronto has prospect wise is of much interest to consider moving Dotsal. We had Andersen and Gibson, we’ve had Bryzgalov and Giguere, Andersen and Hiller. Having two great goalies is always the best thing a team can do, the better Dotsal plays the less likely he gets moved

Personally I think C is where we are now at our strongest:
    Der-Arguchintsev, Abruzzese, Abramov, Hirvonen
But I get there isn't a real fit, thx

No prospects really interest our needs. Besides Dostal is an untouchable right now.

I think that if Hirvonen pans out, it will be as a winger. Dobber Prospects rates SDA and Abruzzese about on a par with Groulx and a little ahead of Antoine Morand, who is fifth on our depth chart.
