Good to know. Robertson isn't of interest? Safe to say he has top 4 potential and is LHD.

I'm sure Robertson is of interest if the Rags are offering him, but not at the cost of arguably their best winger prospect. The Kings might trade someone like Kupari, Thomas, or Madden if they want to shore up their defensive pipeline, but Fagemo and Kaliyev are non-starters.

Kupari for Robertson work? Kupari has played C but I ultimately think he's a RW. I'd still take a chance if that works for both sides.

Yes, I think the Kings would consider that.

He's good enough defensively, played there in the AHL under Sheldon Keefe, played there in Sweden. Still young enough to adapt to it?

Might be able to adapt, but he looked terrible in game 5 vs CBJ and last year vs Boston when kadri was suspended. He’s a terrific winger tho

Hmmm. Might need a longer look. Can't just throw him off and on.

What do the Leafs gain with a top 5 pick in a weak-ish draft? trading Nylander would stunt the team a large margin and a player who's a year away can't help too much. Just curious there.

Weak-ish on offense.. They would gain top pairing Dman either right or left shot one.. top-5 Dmen in 2021 are all future top pairing studs so.. thats what they would gain. They shouldnt trade Nylander but for that it would sort of make sense (if it even does make sense in very few cases, since would be ****ing stupid to trade him)..

Gotcha. Agreed. He shouldn't be traded. Very underrated player.

Yeah. And very positionally versatille. But if you can gain one of Lambos, Power, Clarke.. that would make sense since those guys are future #1 Dmen. That, 2022 1st or trade for current top pair D would make sense, other things naaah..

I mean its pretty offsetting to go from an elite W to elite D. Especially considering how long they'll need to develop. Tavares and the other aging guys need to be positioned to win now and Nylander being dealt, imo, eliminates the Leafs prematurely.
