With the cap the oilers have, get another d man instead of Hoffman, maybe bowey or kohekohk or chara.

Detroit already has a full roster so the move doesn’t make sense but maybe another team?

Biggest issue here is the what if klef is cleared to return at any point in the season that’s a lot of cap space needing to be found and doing so during season will almost certainly cost more than clearing during off-season. Holland has shown since taking over he’s unwilling to offer term to free agents which I personally love and think is the smartest thing he has done thus far wait and see how someone will produce and preform in the system before attaching term. Always remember term is the deadliest factor in any contract.
