I find it hard to believe that the Sabres will be sellers at the deadline. Even if they’re on the outside looking in, they should be close enough. I mean, they were buyers this past season.
That being said, no way Jokiharju is getting traded. If they’re selling, he’d most likely be part of their plans moving forward.
Exactly, with Hall and Staal, even if they are in a tough division they will be buyers most likely.
I know what 923 thought of Simmonds, but Toronto signed him this year so a playoff team also thinks he adds value.
He and Kahun were exactly what the Sabres needed at the TDL, more scoring and grit.
Giving up a 5th for him is nearly nothing, it just did not work out.
At the TDL Buffalo was 29-25-8
They lost the next six games surrendering 4 or more goals in half of them with Hutton and Johansson in net.
Then Ullmark returns and they win 3-2 over Washington.
Only a "Moron" would not know what were the circumstances that led to the Sabres performance after the TDL.
Finally, of all of the defensemen, only Dahlin is less likely to be traded than Jokiharju.
