Description
Buffalo trade might be off, constructive criticism is encouraged. Also, trades aren’t in chronological order. It would be the Stalock trade first, then the Dumba deal, then Seattle and finally the Virtanen trade. Lines also may be off.

meh Canucks have no reason to make that trade. Also, I can't see Buffalo making that trade unless they massively improve this year

Pens don’t need goalie depth. One of our team Strengths is not having a lot of cap space wrapped up In Goalies. If Jarry plays the way he plays last year or similarly, there is no need. DeSmith is a capable, good NHL back-up.

That's a lot of quantity for Dumba without much quality. Especially once the 1st is top 10 protected. Asplund and Thompson are of no interest, and if the Wild are trading Dumba, it's not to take a worse RD back. Dumba for a top 6 center or a top6 center prospect/top 10 first round pick.

The Stalock deal is fine.

Wild don't need Virtanen. We have plenty of wingers on the roster, and plenty of winger prospects who will be competing for roster spots in the next couple years.

Giving Danault 6x6 is horrendous. He's a glorified high end 3C. We already have a similar type player in Eriksson Ek who could still be as good or better than Danault.

VAN decline, they would rather keep Virtanen.

Risto for Dumba straight up would be an acceptable trade. Maybe a little more on the Risto side but two draft picks is way too much.

I recognize that danault is a USA after this upcoming season but I can’t picture Montreal letting him walk for free. I imagine he’ll be resigned or moved at the tdl

EDIT: As you can see, you are obviously incorrect, Dumba is MUCH better than Ristolainen. LOL

Risto has negative value. Dumba does not

Let's make a quick comparison of Dumba v Ristolainen of 2019-2020
Dumba Ristolainen
goals 6 6
pts 25 33
+/- -7 -5
5 on 5 SV% .903 .922
OZ starts 49% 47%
% v top lines 48% 94%
Blocked shots 89 84
Hits 100 207
PDO 992 1017

Dumba $6,000,000 to 2022-23
Ristolainen $5,400,000 to 2021-22

OK, I see now @AndrewLadd you are correct Dumba is much better than Ristolainen and Buffalo needs to add two prospects and two picks to balance the trade.
