Marner value = Tkachuk value probably
Gaudreau > nylander forsure
But simmonds > Lucic

I mean this trade would never happen, but like I don’t hate it for either team? Idk. Definitely not garbage so props for that. I think in a vacuum it works

I saw a few similar deals kicking around on here so I tried to do similarish players with an equal cap going both ways

Hmm..

At first glance it seems like it’s tilted for leafs.. but then u gotta consider that you’re losing contract years on Marner and Nylander for Gaudreau and Tkachuk, and gaining years and tons of money with simmonds for lucic. So not worth it in the long run, even if you are getting the more valuable players

Until you factor in Gaudreau and Tkachuk only have 2 years on their contracts. So along with Rielly needing a deal then as well, there is no chance that team stay together for more than 2 years.

So pass from the Leafs.

Flames easily decline. They make there best left winger Mangiapane. Also they are 4 mill over cap and Tkachuk is our future captain. Personally just for Tkachuk, I think flames would want Matthews and a pick or 2 maybe more. Remember this is my opinion
