For the hawks to trade kane to one of their biggest rivals st Louis is gonna have to give up way too much for it to be worth it.

That doesn't get you Patrick Kane, And you're over the cap by some $8.581 million. Try thinking things out before you post.

Not quite. Bobby Thomas is a great trade chip though. That’s obviously the biggest piece they are getting back. You have to add a prospect package instead of Blias and DeLaRose IMO. I would say a proven young NHL player with potential(Bobby Thomas more than fits that) probably a prospect package of 2 of the top 5 prospects in a team’s system, and a 1st round pick. I would say around that value. Give or take alitttle bit depending on the prospects and where the pick is expected to be.

This is the must disgusting thing I've seen since the Blues winning the cup, but on value wise, it's not that bad

IMO its in the Black Hawks best interest to trade Kane in the next few years. Their window to win has closed and holding onto him is bad for both of their futures. The question is how much is any team willing to spend on a 32 year old player (full disclosure anyteam would want him, as long as they can fit in his cap). The longer it goes the price goes way down. Do these pieces equate to Kane today . . . No. . . give it a few years and the see saw swings the other way. Wait till next year and have the Hawks retain half the salary at the trade line to a team that's ready to win the cup that year. Realistically, a player like him never gets traded.

The Blues are not doing this utter nonsense. Obviously.
