The Habs have a good top line. They also have a good 2nd line. The 3rd is where they kinda drop off

Defense was fine before Edmundson. There was no need to sign him

And Price-Allen is no the best tandem in the league, not even top 3

I dont know why Seattle would want Edmundson's contract. There will be a lot of defensemen available. He will certainly not be a desirable option

the good thing is Montreal should be fine with losing either of those guys. Allen extension was on purpose to be taken by seattle. Allen is a young enough goalie to have some prime year left

Imo it depends on the division they are in. They have more of a chance I feel in a Canadian division then they do in the Atlantic. Also Anderson MUST bounce back and it will help if Suzuki and kk have big seasons.

I do agree with you for defense.. Edmundson is already on a bad contract. Only if he plays his best hockey, he will be worth it. However, he's taking the spot of a young guy. Seattle might be interested in taking Allen. Edmundson ? Chariot ? I'm not sure, they don't have great value.
When saying something like Price-Allen is not in the top3 duo's of the league, at least give your top 3 ! Or it just looks like you're hating.

Great ! Lehner-Fleury could have also made the list. Price-Allen can still arguably be compared to any you have listed, plus none of the duos will play in a canadian division.

ngl, I feel like freddy and campbell are a dark horse. Fred was overworked and somehow put up a .918sv% every year with a decent backup, on a bottom 5-10 defensive team in the NHL, facing more shots than basically every other starting goaltender, then dipped when we went with sparks/hutch

campbell, if he plays anything like his 18/19 self, could be an excellent 1B, combined with the leafs better defensive coaching systems and better blue line.

freddy actually has better numbers than price over the last 3 years, let's not forget, or at the very least similar

price could bounceback with a solid backup, but then again, so will freddy probably
