Currently on LA, Austin Wagner is by far the fastest skater. He's got the north/south speed of McDavid without any of the hands or IQ.

Alex Formenton is one of the best skaters out there in terms of pure speed. He's a bullet.

Also in recent years in Ottawa, Ryan Dzingel, Matt Duchene and Jean-Gabriel Pageau are guys who could go. Plus peak Karlsson who was one of the best skaters I've ever seen live.

Add all the goalies who won the skating competition when they did it with goalies, can't remember if Quick was the main one

Nick Ehlers is stupid fast. It doesn’t matter with or without the puck. Not many players are as fast with the puck as with out. McDavid is a prime example as well.

I've noticed his speed when watching minimal Kings' games. He's definitely up there. Trevor Moore has some wheels on him too

For Boston- Jake Debrusk has very good acceleration. When he's at his top speed, he's very hard to stop. Sean Kuraly has some underrated acceleration as well. Obviously David Pastrnak is fast as well. For defensemen- Matt Grzelcyk more than likely the fastest and overall best skater, but there are times where I think McAvoy might even be faster than Grzelcyk
