That is a very aggressive rebuild but patty kane is gonna be a hawk til he retires and barkov binnington and hamilton would all be resigned

btw the blackhawks can get way more than that for kane, that trade is not worth losing him.

In 2022-2023 Kane will be 34, have one year left on his contract and a nmc. Doubt the Sabres give up that much for him...

Kane really is a tough one. Obvious talent that still has it to be a top 10 winger for the next couple to five years. Salary is high, so salary would need to be moved if he were to go anywhere. If that’s back to Chi they want to be compensated for that. But then the price becomes too much. This is why I think he stays (and most Chi fans / management prolly agree) and retires a Blackhawk

That Winnepeg and Buffalo trade are not worth it for the Hawks. They can do much better trading Toews if they retain $2M to $3M. That Kane trade is terrible value for the Hawks and imagine if they retained $2M on Kane how much they would get back. If Buffalo wants Kane, then it better include Quinn or Cozens.
