Super disappointed to see the short sightedness by Canada cutting Brochu. guy separated himself from the group and did everything he could and probably should have won the starting role. Instead they picked their pre camp decided goalies and cut him first

Honestly it would be better for holloway to be playing in college rather than to be in the pressbox

I think the line they ran last night was McMichael-Cozens-Dach.
Zary was with Mercer and Tomasino

And Hawks fans. I don't want to see Dach on the wing. He might be versatile, but he's a center and should stay there.

Yes that's true. Experimenting
McMichael and Cozens look set to play together and they're trying to see where Dach fits best. I see them leaving Dach at C though.

Idk. His two way game is fine. Maybe putting him on the wing for this tourney will allow him to explore some offensive creativity and build some confidence rather than focusing on the two way part of being a center. Either way I expect him to perform quite nicely and he will be a center with the Hawks.

Exactly. Need to run with whatever chemistry they can garner in a short tournament.

Its the WJC and not the NHL so I get it. Selfishly, I want to see him continue to develop as a center, but his board play is certainly Hossa esk. He uses his body so well that it seems like that puck is glue to his stick. So while I certainly understand its WJC...I'd like to see them use the Zary-Dach-Tom line vs Dach at wing.

I'm 99% sure he makes the starting 12, so not to worry.

I agree. Just trying to look for upsides in the case he is put at wing
