If it's a debate, then Schwartz better than Tatar, but it shouldn't be a "who add what" because they aren't getting traded one for another as both fit their system perfectly. Both are UFAs and in a 56-game season, there's not time to struggle to find chemistry.

Schwartz performs in the Playoffs. Tartar is a no show. Blues decline unless you are adding a lot.

Schwartz is a stronger defensive player and is younger. As you said, similar stats but I think that Tatar will try to request more when his contract expires than Schwartz.

IMO, Schwartz is a better two-way, defensive player. And Tatar is more of a pure goal scorer. But I’m taking Schwartz if I had to start my own team and had to pick one or the other. And I’ve seen way more of Tatar too, being a Pens fans on the East coast!!

Not because you add something it will be more fair, they rather have Schwartz than Tatar and even if we add, they still rather have Schwartz than Tatar
