3C is definitely a glaring need but we can't keep pissing away our assets. Finding a way to sign Haula would be more worthwhile IMO

I don't think the penguins can trade the pick. They may need a sweetener to get seattle to take Matheson. They got to get that contract off the book. He needs to play well and if it costs them a 2nd to make sure, so be it.

Agree that you could offer Haula some of Staal's contract and be better off.
