For the Avalanche Johnson is not the most overrated player, it’s Franzcouz, the popular option is he is the 1B. But in reality he is the backup by far

Gallagher is a 30 goal per year threat and is treated like a 3rd or 4th liner. He is underrated more than overrated. WOW what a troll post

Not sure how Donato is overrated. Guy played 4th line mins and was one of the top 5v5 scorers per icetime. All sharks fans hope is that with real minutes he breaks out

I also don’t know how Donato ends up here as I don’t think any sharks fans have been claiming he’s super good since we’ve never played with him in our system/ jersey. Putting him in our top 6 isn’t rating him highly if that’s the rationale for his selection. Look at our bottom 6 and name someone who should be over him cause you can’t lol.

Donato is a high risk high reward and if he works out we win and if he doesn’t we either trade him which is still a win due to what we acquired him for or sign for low since he’s a RFA

A better selection would be like Burns or Simek (I guess?) or Ferraro (he didn’t have a great year but we loved him)

Don't really understand some of these,.....Maroon is excellent value at 900,000. Vesey...900,000 is OK for 4th liner. Gallagher excellent value at 3.75 but maybe not next year when he over 6, 5 X 6. Top goalie Gibson is on a team friendly contract. Eichel? A great player on a bad team. Ceci wasn't good for the Leafs but at 1.25m he might be OK. IMO Barrie was the Leafs worse Dman last season and he's with Oilers at 3.75m
