This team doesn’t even come close to the playoffs. That stacked D won’t be able to carry that horrible forward group, not to mention your goalie tandem

Not very far at all -- yeah it's a ridiculous d-core, but they don't have enough offense coming out of the forwards to do much damage. If you're all offense and no defense you're gonna have problems, and likewise, if you're all defense and no offense you're gonna have problems.

Take off Karlsson and Ericsson and bam you've got a good 2C and a good top 6 RW

Why don't you take out Erik karlsson because you aren't even playing him and put in a bit more forward depth

Scratch Eriksson and put karlsson on the wing.

I think they could at least make the playoffs. Id use 11F and 7D but rearrange the F lines. Mackinnon can carry Lindblom and Patrick on the top line, then Benn and Lindholm can carry the 2nd line with Bennett. Iafallo, Brassard, Eriksson is kinda meh for a 3rd line, then double shift Mackinnon on the 4th line with Harkins and Russel

Lindblom-MacKinnon-Patrick
Benn-Bennett-Lindholm (Lindholm could also play C instead)
Iafallo-Brassard-Eriksson
Harkins-MacKinnon-Russell

pair any of those lines with 2 elite D men and overall its a solid 5 man unit on the ice at all times. Honestly you could even move Karlsson or Makar up to wing (or just use the Leafs fans 2F 3D idea) to give better players more ice time

Andersen gets a lot of hate for some reason but hes NHL starter quality, that G tandem is fine
