Description
Do you agree with Steve Dangle's Prospect Pyramid?

For those of you who are unsure of what it is, it is simply a way of ranking prospects in tier levels rather than individual level. In other words, each tier represents a certain potential for the prospects. Tier 1 is Superstar, meaning that the prospect will make a huge impact in the NHL (McDavid, Matthews caliber players). Tier 2 is your solid prospects that will turn into big assets for your future, maybe potential all-stars and superstars. Tier 3 is more of your players who are beginning to scratch the surface at the NHL and have high sealings to go far, but they could very well possibly not go far at all. Tier 4 is where we begin to find those players whose chances of making the big club are small, but they have the potential to do it, but it's highly unlikely they do. Tier 5 is the second last tier and these players are typically classified as AHL players meaning their chances of making the NHL are slim to none. Tier 6 is the last and by now you could probably finish it by saying that tier 6 is the bottom of the barrel.

Tier 1 = LW
Tier 2 = C
Tier 3 = RW
Tier 4 = LD
Tier 5 = RD & G
Tier 6 = SCRATCHED LIST

*I consider prospects to be "graduated" from the rank of prospect after they turn 25. Therefore, the players on this list are 24 years old or younger. Yegor Korshkov is the oldest and will graduate next season*

I hope we see major things from Liljegren in the next calendar year. His development has been slow so far

Good list. I may flip SDA and Abramov, and Abruzzese is still a ?? for me (considering he's a bit older).

Also some decent results/reports on Ovchinnikov so far this season, so he could graduate to Tier 4 - maybe Miettinen too.

There are certainly some things in there I don't agree with, the major one being SDA a tier ahead of the likes of Abramov and Niemela; I'd swap their tiers.

Also, not to completely rehash @Barilko14 's statement, but I'm a fan of Ovchinnikov (was psyched when they picked him) and Miettinen, I'd have them in tier 4.

I think people are down on Liljegren because it feels like he's been around forever; the kid's only 21 though, I think he should be tier 2 with Sandin, Robertson, and Amirov. I like his game a lot, in his limited minutes with the Leafs his passing was SO good. I'm excited to see him around this year.

For as big of a die hard fan I am of the leafs, I had no idea who the f*** Abruzzsese was until TSN put up their top 10 prospect rankings for the leafs a couple months ago. Im excited to see what this guy does, but wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being nothing. Hes got 54 points in 41 NCAA games rn, leads the league if I'm not mistaken. I wouldn't flip Abramov and SDA, id just move Abramov up myself IMO. I believe he is also a tier 3 prospect

I agree with this. Poor guy had mono and everyone began to write him off. One of a few steals in that 2017 draft

Steve dangle is my second favourite youtuber next to dudeperfect, and this is one of his better works. Abramov seems to me like he and Abruzzeze should be switched, but minor change. Also Liligeren could be higher, hard to say.

rn I see him as a late bloomer with a tonne of potential. With Muzzin as a partner for 2021 and with some gained confidence Liligren could be a solid 2-way dman
