Just because you are a couple of people to a bad team doesn’t mean that they will be champs

Not sure you know who the two guys you traded for are. They’re really good.

Why would Stamkos waive for LA?, The high California taxes would be to much to bear.

I'm not saying that Stamkos would have interest in going anywhere, but:

I keep seeing you say this, but there was an excellent article written recently regarding a simple way for players signing in Canada (essentially the same issue), to essentially dodge the high tax rates. It's not like these guys don't have easy access to solid financial advisors to make this happen.

This is effectively trading away three second rounders to maybe make the playoffs and lose your last year of filling the cupboards. Guaranteed this is the season the Kings pick their top defenseman, and I would rather have a chance at Owen Power than one round in the playoffs.

Well he just talked to Kyperos about a month ago, And stated that he plans on finishing his contract with Tampa. So he's going nowhere.

The meat and potatoes of my post was to ask what your obsession with tax rates is, when, it's been shown that there are plenty of ways around it, especially when you're a multi-millionaire.
