Kings aren't taking your cap dumps unless there's a 1st coming back.

So a guy that had a 5 team bidding war for him this past summer, who then played potentially the best season of his career... looses status and become a cap dump?

    He's a 4th liner making 3.5M for 5 more years...

    Again, he's a 4th liner making 3.5M for 5 more years...

The next 3 years will be rough with cap. If you don't want to call it a cap dump, that's fine. However, NOBODY is PAYING for a 4th liner with that contract.

I never said he was bad, but teams aren't taking that contract without compensation. Certainly, no one is paying for him. That is a cap dump IMO. Penguins are stuck with him.

If you love him so much, why are you trading him?

I'm not. Neither is Rutherford. I assume that Dougie REALLY wanted to bring in Danault so he made a bad trade to get the cap to work. Then you made the ... questionable comment of Pittsburgh needing to add a 1st to move Tanev. I would have commented on the original bad trade, but then your comment trumped that.

I never said they needed to add a 1st to move Tanev... I simply said, Kings aren't taking cap dumps unless there's a 1st coming back. In short, Kings decline.

"I didn't say Pittsburgh needs to add a 1st, but for LA to accept there needs to be a 1st." Yeah, I'm the not smart one.

I will enjoy your ignore list. Less nonsensical responses that I have to keep knocking down. Enjoy the bliss.

It’s true...I make absolutely horrendous ACGM’s in the offseason.
