Forgot (captain?) Tkachuk! But yes, future is crazy bright for Ottawa. I think I might agree with Melynk for once - this team looks like they could win a cup in the next four years!
Borocop and sensibleguy liked this.

I don't understand the trade.

I wouldn't trade Connor Brown for a goalie I wasn't at least playing backup, not with the goalie prospects the team already has. You're swapping 2nds, which doesn't make sense this far out from the draft, and adding a 6th. I just don't understand the thinking here.

This assumes two key things that would make or break this theory.

A) Literally like 90% of the prospects would have to pan out
B) Stutzle would have to become an elite #1C as opposed to a winger. Even then they aren't nearly as strong at center

the centre pool is deffo missing that elite guy (i dont see why tim cant be that eventually) but it is a super deep centre pool with some good players

I just have a feeling that tim will be a winger. Don't get me wrong, not trying to bash the sens I actually like the team, but generally if a guy is half-winger half-centre before the league, they end up being a winger in the league. I could be wrong, hope I am, but that's just my gut feeling. Which would leave a big hole to fill, but I genuinely think that if Barkov leaves FLA he should sign in OTT.

If you think Connor Brown is only worth an AHL goaltender, you don’t understand Connor Brown. This trade is either a troll, or you’re an idiot.

Connor Brown is 26, get a clue.

Btw, Lou Lamoriello thinks you need a haircut.
