I don't mind the ekblad acquisition, i think hed be a good grab for the leafs. I dont love kerfoot as a 2nd line winger so Id like the leafs to address that somehow if they made this move but it wouldnt be a dire need

Marner has more value as a player. Nylander has more value in the contract.

Accari is overrated. He is a 4th liner nothing more. I’d rather have Rielly than Ekblad. Getting Ekblad makes keeping Rielly in 2 years harder.

I agree. If offering the same return, I wonder how many GMs take the option of Nylander + $4M in cap space OR Marner at $10.89?

The best to gauge if a trade would be something Dubas would do is to compare it to past trades... Ekblad may be rated slightly better than Muzzin so the difference between what Muzzin cost them and what Ekblad would cost is absolutely not Nylander or Marner. No way a guy thats been just OK in Florida the last couple years is going to cost them either of those RWs
