Alright so for starters,
The big shock may be that Gusev is on the 3rd line but I'm not looking at lines in terms of importance to quality. Instead who the players work well with, last season Gusev - Zacha - Bratt all worked well together, hoping they can do it again.
After that, the top 6 are pretty interchangeable. The idea was to bring in goals. Marchessault is a legit 20-30 goal scorer and adding Duclair and Johnsson to round out the second line should shore up the remaining 25 goals the Devils need to be a playoff team.

Corey and Mackenzie should also lower the team's GA assuming they both play to their averages, not necessarily taking a step forward.

Biggest weakness is on D, but with the quality of talent up front and the picks the team has, that's something that can be addressed if the need ever arises.

And yes, it might take more than Wood and a 5th to take Marchessault out of Vegas, but whatever. It could happen.
