If anything I would swap Kerfoot and Robertson to give Jumbo a scoring target, and Tavares more of a playmaker player. Speaking of JT, did you purposely didn't put him on PP?

I actually think this would be smart. Holl, Dermott and Lehtonen, not to mention Sandin and Liljegren probably can't play 20+ minutes every night. This should prevent them from doing so plus if a d-man gets hurt they have 6 others.

Oh, and the big four plays so much that 11 forwards is more than enough. Hell, I think they could play a game with 10 Fs and be fine lol

I'm always been surprised that coaches don't play 7 Dmen more often. During the course of the season you certainly need 7 or 8 NHL Dmen to play. Sitting guys for weeks/months and then expect then to be NHL good when thrown into games again seems to be foolish IMO.
When Marner had his 95 point season, a lot of his points came from playing the point on the PP. He was excellent. So my suggested PP would be have Reilly and Marner on the points. Muzzin and Holl could be secondary PP point guys. That still leaves Tavares, Matthews, Nylander as top skilled forwards on the PP. Then for "net presence", Hyman, MIkeheyov, Simmons, Thornton. Plus a Kerfoot and Spezza as more skilled forwards.
Muzzin, Holl, Brodie, and Bogosian could be set as PK Dmen....that's pretty good.

I don't think it will be a 56 game idea. I could see a steady rotation through the year of 4th line fwds, and 7th dmen.

Then best lineup takes the ball and runs with it in the playoffs.

Barbanov has to be on the opening roster or he can not Play.
